Tawke field partners in the Kurdish Regional Government (KRG) received $43.79 million for December 2016 crude oil deliveries, Genel Energy announced Tuesday.
According to the announcement from Genel Energy Plc., the payment reflects full settlement of the invoiced amount for December 2016 oil sales, and includes $36.79 million towards monthly entitlement and $7.06 million towards recovery of historical receivables.
Tawke production in December averaged 110,335 barrels of oil per day (bopd), of which 109,546 bopd was delivered for export through Turkey.
Genel Energy is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company headquartered in London with offices in Ankara and Erbil.
