Spot market electricity prices for Monday, June 19

The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 197.93 Turkish liras at 11.00 and the lowest will be 96.01 liras at 05.00, 06.00 and 16.00 local time, according to official figures on Sunday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Monday's electricity market increased by 17.49 percent to 44.8 million liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Monday is calculated as 139.74 liras and 141.54 liras respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Sunday was 168.18 Turkish liras at 19.00 and the lowest was 96 liras at 05.00, 06.00, 07.00 and 08.00 local time.

US$1 equals 3.51 Turkish liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
