Spot market electricity prices for Friday, Oct. 13

The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 203.60 Turkish liras at 16.00 local time, the lowest will be 117,01 liras at 04.00 local time, according to official figures on Thursday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Thursday's electricity market increased by 5.11 percent to 55.55 million liras compared to Wednesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Friday is calculated as 168.20 liras and 171.74 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Thursday was 200.84 Turkish liras at 16.00 local time, the lowest was 117 liras at 04.00 local time.

US$1 equals 3.68 Turkish liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
