Innogy, SSE and Statoil own 4.8GW UK wind projects
- SSE and Statoil to each own 50% of three projects, Innogy to solely own other offshore wind project

German Innogy, U.K.-based wind developer SSE and Norwegian Statoil signed an ownership agreement for four offshore wind projects off the east coast of Yorkshire in the North Sea, the consortium announced on Wednesday.

The Dogger Bank projects are planned to have a total capacity of 4.8 gigawatts, divided into 1.2 gigawatts for the four projects.

Under the agreement, SSE and Statoil together will each own 50 percent of the three projects; Dogger Bank Creyke Beck A, Dogger Bank Creyke Beck B and Dogger Bank Teesside A.

Innogy will own 100 percent of the remaining project, the Dogger Bank Teesside B project.

"The new ownership agreements mean the projects will now be progressed towards financial investment decisions by their respective owners," the consortium said.
