Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, May 17
- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows trade volume as 59.2 million Turkish liras for electricity market

The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 203.16 Turkish liras at 11.00 and the lowest will be 97.48 liras at 04.00 local time, according to official figures on Tuesday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Tuesday's electricity market increased by 11.8 percent to 59.2 million liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Wednesday is calculated as 157.86 liras and 161.78 liras respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Tuesday was 201.35 liras at 09.00 and the lowest was 77.99 liras at 03.00 local time.

US$1 equals 3.56 Turkish liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
