The highest electricity rate for one megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 173 Turkish liras at 20.00 and the lowest will be 70.05 liras at 03.00 local time, according to official figures on Saturday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Sunday's electricity market decreased by 7.16 percent to 40.5 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Sunday is calculated as 135.29 liras and 136.81 liras respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Saturday was 187.67 liras at 11.00 and the lowest was 70.03 liras at 23.00 local time.
US$1 equals 3.61 Turkish liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
