Carbon Disclosure Proj. endorses Eni in Climate A list
- Italian company Eni is only oil and gas major that has achieved highest rating (A) for corporate action on climate change

The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) has recognized Eni as a global leader for its actions and strategies in response to climate change, according to the CDP's statement on Tuesday.

Eni is the only oil and gas major that has achieved this recognition.

The CDP is an international not-for-profit organization, and reference point for investors, which specializes in the evaluation and measurement of environmental performance on climate change of listed companies.

"The list includes companies that have achieved the highest rating (A) following the independent evaluation of performance and strategies in response to climate change," the statement read.

CDP works on behalf of over 800 investors with assets of $100 trillion.
